Well I have decided it is time to create a newsletter to keep you all up to date on what is happening with Opotiki Homeopathy.
It has been a busy couple of months for me over the winter. As homeopath but more so as a mother, I became a grandmother on the 1st of June. The experience has been a real homeopathic journey. Right from the early days of morning sickness through to the birth and recovery my daughter has used homeopathic remedies. I was privileged to be present at the birth of my granddaughter and homeopathic remedies were used from beginning to end. The midwives involved were more than happy for me to use remedies to help the newborn with her breathing and thanks to rescue remedy we avoided being transported to the neonatal intensive care unit. Six weeks on, remedies are still being used when they are needed and both mum and baby are thriving.
This was the first time I have supported a pregnancy with homeopathy, my daughter was my guinea pig, but it is something that I have really enjoyed and would love to make it a regular feature of my practice. It was amazing how quickly and effectively some remedies worked, within minutes in some instances. So if you know of anyone who is expecting ask them if they would like homeopathic support, it really is quite wonderful.
I plan to make this a seasonal newsletter, the change in seasons is when our immunity is challenged. If you would like to see something in particular here let me know. Also if you prefer to be left off my mailing list please send me a return email to that effect.
Stay warm and dry and remember your remedies.
