What to expect from your consultation
The aim of the homeopathic consultation is to understand why you have these health problems at this time, to look into your unique situation and to find the natural remedies that will create a steady and continuing improvement in your health. During the first consultation (approx 1½ hours) I will endeavour to build a well rounded picture of you as an individual, not just of the symptoms that you are currently experiencing. Homeopathy can only be effective when it is individualised to you and you alone. We shall talk about your symptoms, when they started and whether you noticed any specific patterns about them, as well as aspects of your emotional and physical make-up, your life style, your medical history and your family's health. Many people find the consultation process an empowering and beneficial experience.
How will a remedy be chosen?
After your consultation I will review the information I have collected & prescribe the best remedy suited to you individually. In acute cases this may happen while you are in the clinic but with longer term issues it is more likely that I will contact in a day or two with the right remedy. It is important that I consider all remedies that may match you and your symptoms so that we get the result you are looking for.
Can I still take my normal medication?
Homeopathic remedies work effectively alongside conventional medicine. Moreover, they do not interfere with the action of the medication prescribed by your doctor. At no time should you stop taking prescribed medication without first consulting your doctor.
What side effects do homeopathic remedies have?
Because homeopathy stimulates the body's natural, self-healing power to repair and regenerate itself you will experience minimal side effects which we can deal with as they occur.
How long does the remedy take to work?
In acute cases you may feel relief within a very short time but in chronic cases remedies may take longer to work. Your symptoms may intensify for short time after taking a remedy, but this is a normal reaction of the body starting the healing process.
Are homeopathic remedies safe for babies & during pregnancy?
Because the natural remedies have been diluted all toxicity is removed, they are probably the safest of all medicinal substances, but directions should be followed regardless.

Cancellation policy
We all have things crop up unexpectedly at times, even when we have appointments scheduled. I understand that sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. But if you do not make contact with me and fail to arrive for your appointment a cancellation fee will apply.
